Moose’s Pub is the perfect place to go if you find yourself missing your local pub while travelling in Thailand. A spacious western-style pub, with air-conditioning, beers on tap (even Guinness!), loads of big screens to watch your favorite team playing, be it football, rugby or something else, they have it all. Monkey Bar is one of the most frequented bars in the central Khao Lak area. It has friendly staff, lots of seating area and a small cozy hangout spot at the back. Monkey Bar is located a short 5 mins walk from our office in Khao Lak, on the main road in the centre of Khao Lak. Only open during the similan islands season.

Memories Beach Bar is located at Pakarang Beach about 20 minutes north of Khao Lak centre. It is a great place to spend time on a beautiful white sand beach while enjoying cocktails and some thai food. If you choose to drive there on a motorbike, be aware that you have to drive a few kilometers on a dirt road. A wonderful place to spend a sunny day relaxing in the sun. One of the best Surf spot in Khao Lak. Surf boards are also available for rent.

Walker’s Inn is located in the southern part of Khao Lak centre and is a great place to be on match day. Football, rugby, formula 1, MMA, whichever sports you want to watch, they usually have it on. Just ask friendly owner Andy to put it on for you. Gaby, our office manager and our instructor Alex are both part time residents of Walker’s Inn, as they eat there pretty much everyday! They offer a wide variety of Western and Thai Food, cheap drinks and cocktails with great service and a friendly atmosphere.

Fat Shark is a great place to hang out if you are staying in the Bang Niang area. Located just across the Ramada Hotel, Fat Shark has an eclectic decor and drift wood sculptures made by the owner’s brother give the place a unique vibe. You can find a pool table here, as well as a dart board. Drinks are reasonably priced and the décor itself is worth the look. On any given night, there is a good chance you might find a few of our instructors enjoying a cold drink here. Opens 5pm until late.
